You can make fresh, delicious salsa that tastes better than any salsa you can get from a jar, and even as good as your favorite Tex-Mex restaurant. Quick and easy - no food processor needed.
Easy, Delicious Salsa
Ingredients
1 28 oz. can crushed tomatoes
2 roma tomatoes, diced small
2-3 large jalapenos, cut in half, with top/stem, core and seeds removed
1 bunch cilantro
1 medium onion, diced small
2 garlic cloves, minced
¼ teaspoon cumin
¼ teaspoon cayenne (optional)
1 teaspoon salt
1 lime
Directions
Prep ingredients as described and combine with crushed tomatoes in a medium-sized bowl with crushed tomatoes.
Squeeze the juice of one lime and stir.
Refrigerate for up to 5 days.
*If you wish to use a food processor, you can pulse ingredients to a rough chop consistency. Be careful not to over-process!
